Perfect for kids learning numbers and colors!
My 20-month-old daughter LOVES playing with the counting chicken! It's a great way to play while learning numbers and colors. This toy is helping her count from one to 10. It's so fun to watch her play with the chicken because she also says which color egg, she's putting in the chicken. Great toy for kids! Highly recommend!

Loves It!
My nephew received this as a present for his 3rd birthday. He loves farm animals & knows so many numbers. He loves the “find it” game. I am experiencing the same issues with the black & white eggs being mixed up. We have to explain to him that he has the correct egg but the chicken is confused. It would be a 5 star review other than that. I highly recommend the counting chicken if your child is able to understand that the chicken gets mixed up.

Awesome play & learn toy
My 3 year old love this so much. She's able to play while she's learning her numbers and colors. I love that if she guessed wrong, the chicken actually help her to correct her answer. Definitely a great toy to have.

Funny and very engaged toy
My daughter is into farm animals and this was a gear addition, she can relate the sounds and the dots in the eggs, she also loves the noise it makes (mami is so funny).<br />

Good counting you for Toddlers
My daughter and son loved to play and sort the colors and numbers with this toy. My little one is 2 and he is in the verge of learning the numbers. my 3 year old mastered it and sometimes the toy misinterprets the colors and numbers but that’s fine and it happens with the mechanics. But that’s a good thing from my side as my 3 yr old actually try’s to rectify the toys mistakes. I would totally recommend this for the toddlers

Great idea, QC Dept needs attention
My son just turned 2 last week and really enjoys this adorable chicken. He is very inquisitive and enjoys placing the eggs in the slot while hearing the audibles. He is also fascinated by removing and reinstalling the rear twist-lock cover that is used to retrieve the colored eggs. I did notice the same flaw as the previous reviewer. When inserted into the chicken some of the eggs do not match either their color or the number of dots on them. This is especially confusing to my son who has nearly mastered all of his colors and is working on numbers. If this was not an issue this would be a 5 star review.

Adorable but inconsistent
My 9 month old had the opportunity to play with this today. Immediately when the chicken made his first sounds, my son's face lit up with a huge smiles. He really likes birds so I thought this would be a great toy for him. In truth, he loves it. It is sturdy and solid enough for him to small the toy eggs trying to get them into the slot. It is also not too heavy and he can pick up the chicken and even gave it a kiss. So even though the toy is 2+ years, great for younger kids because of the cuteness. The problem is the toy eggs. We tried the various learning modes and the chicken was just inconsistent. At least half the time, the red and green eggs are mistaken for each other. The yellow egg and black eggs were also misinterpreted. The device also often confused the one and three dot eggs. So, as the title says, the toy is adorable and my son loves it but the inconsistent treader makes learning a bit difficult.
