This colorful set of 26 letter puzzle cards provides children with a valuable way to learn their letters. Each card features the upper case letter, a picture of an object that starts with that letter and the lower case letter. Simply match the three pieces together to complete the puzzle. The puzzles are self-correcting as no two puzzle cuts are the same. It's a fun way to learn about letters and to practice problem-solving. Recommended for ages 4+ years.
I really like this learning puzzle. It has helped my daughter to recognize the upper case and lower case letters! Highly recommend this
Great sturdy cards with high quality images. My only complaint is that 2 or 3 of the cards used words that don't have the primary letter sound. For example, i is for ice. i would like a short vowel i word because that is the sound you teach first for the letter i.<br /> (This product was gifted to me.)
Love this set for my almost 3 year old she recognizes all capital letters now and this is helping her learn and match her lower cases as well!
My class loves this puzzle
This puzzle is such a fun way to teach big and little letters and also connect them to the sounds of the letters. My kids love this one!
This really helped my five year old who was struggling with letter recognition and sound.
When I received this, I was a bit worried that it wasn't the complete alphabet because the box says 20 sets of cards. Thankfully, all 26 letters are present and accounted for. It's really hard to find products that isolate the capital and lowercase letters so I was super happy to find this. I follow a Montessori style approach so I plan on introducing the picture sounds, then the lower case, then the uppercase. The self correcting component is super important as well. I recently picked up a similar set at Target that are not self-correcting. They won't teach the child bc any letter and picture can match even when completely incorrect. My only critique is that the letter /i/ uses ice as the picture instead of igloo with the short vowel sound. I am going to draw an igloo on there. I may also draw a colored border around the vowels to distinguish them. The cards are nice and thick though my daughter hasn't played with them yet to truly see how they hold up. Overall, I think this set is a really affordable option and I'm happy with my purchase.
This is the perfect game to help my 4 year old son distinguish between upper case and lower case letters. It's fun for him, and is helping prepare him for Kindergarten. I highly recommend these cards to any family that wants a fun and easy way to teach their kids about matching and letters!
This is a wonderful educational game to do with your little ones my 3 year old son enjoys this game so much and is learning fast! I would highly recommend this to any mom who wants to give their child a head start in learning.

I like that puzzles are a great size to fit in my child's hands. We have a few of these puzzles and he really enjoys them. Only down side is the fear of losing one.
My son enjoys it. The size was bigger than expected. Fast delivery and happy with this purchase.
I bought this for our 3 1/2 year old daughter that is struggling with learning her letters. This is perfect!! As a bonus, she loves puzzles. If she picks the wrong letter to go with the picture (ie picture of car and she tries to put a G on it) it won't fit. The pieces are sturdy and colorful. What I did was to take letters and pictures A-J and put them in a zip lock. Once she has mastered them, I will add an extra one until we get through the whole alphabet. Having them all out at one time can be a little overwhelming. Don't hesitate to purchase. I'm going to see if there is one for numbers too!
Homeschooling during this pandemic!
Such a fun way to learn phonics! I love how this includes both upper and lowercase letters. I really like that you could also connect different letters to create a word. I highly recommend.
Perfect for my preschool age son learning before starting kindergarten.

Great for classroom use
My toddler loves puzzles and I thought this would be a good way to incorporate some extra learning in to it. Toddler knew upper case, but now lower case is mastered with the help of this. Good for learning the sounds and what words start with, too. I only wish all the vowels were words with the short sound instead of long, as that’s the sound I’m accustomed to teaching first. Example: “I” groups with a picture of ice in this puzzle, when I wish it was something like igloo. It is a lot of pieces for little kids, so I separated them in to three bags; for one bag to be used at a time until they’re more mastered and less overwhelming. At this point, I can probably go down to two bags.
Love this gameEasy for primary students to use
my 5 year old grandson enjoys the puzzle.
Great
Love it! It keep my 4 year old engaged and more willing to practice letters!
He like to play
My children love this puzzle and it makes learning fun for them
My child LOVES this game and is learning so much from it!
Easy for my 3 and 4 year old to use. Keeps them busy for a while. Helps to learn to identify letters
A winner with the kids and with us.
What a GREAT product! I totally endorse this!
Fun matching game that my daughter didn’t even know was helping her learn! I got this when she was 3 and she still plays it with me now at 5
good review for kids
Great learning tool.
Used in the classroom to teach kids. It was a big hit with the students, so bought a set for my grandsons who love puzzles.
The cards are sturdy; they are a good size. (actually larger then expected) You need plenty of space to lay out all the cards. The pictures are nice and easily identifiable. My 2 year old enjoys them and she's learning.
Nice
This is a great learning tool for my classroom
Great quality, thick pieces. I just wish there were no images in the middle. My son (pre-k) is just starting to learn his lower case letters (reason for ordering) and the big and little letters dont fit without the picture piece in the middle. A child must independently know what letter an image starts with, therefore it has turned into a cooperative exercise. I know my son will memorize the picture with the letters eventually....
My 3 year old daughter learned her letter sounds and upper vs lowercase with this puzzle. Great buy. The pieces are thick and well made. It will hold up well.
Sturdy pieces, simple format, great buy!!! Just a great purchase!!
My 5 year old Grandson was having problems with his letters and with this product he is doing very well.
well contructed, heavy cardboard. Bright clear pictures.
These are great
Purchased this for my kindergarten daughter. She really enjoys matching the pieces up and has helped her with letter recognition.
I would give this 2 1/2 stars but you can only give whole star ratings. This is a decent quality product however the vowel sounds use a mixture of short and long vowel sound pictures which is confusing for kids if you are using this as a teaching tool. A is apple (short vowel sound), I is ice (long vowel sound). It would have been nice to have a consistent short vowel sound or long vowel sound or even both included.
Good quality. Good price. Fast delivery.
Grandson loves it!
Haven't used these yet, but very happy with the quality.
4 years old, we've been learning some letters, mostly capitals. We split these puzzles into 2 groups, as 78 pieces is too many to deal with at once. This was a decent way for her to learn some more capitals and match them with their lower case counterparts. The pictures were somewhat difficult, especially as they are the centerpiece of each puzzle. She had some trouble figuring out what letter each picture would start with. Most of the pictures were good, but to a 4 yr old life is quite difficult when your parent is telling you that elephant does not start with "L". Of course, a lot of English doesn't make sense.I think its a helpful tool to be used in moderation and in conjunction with other learning tools.
Would have given 5 stars, but box had a large hole in the back of it
good
I bought these for my 3 year old daughter. She loves them. They are made very well and not cheap and flimsy. We are going to buy the other sets soon as we know they will last a while.Worth the money if you are looking for something like this. Highly recommend.
another gift I bought for my grandson, 'we ' had so much fun playing with these, he loves puzzles and was learning at same time.
I use this at work with my preschoolers and they love it! It helps to identify capital and lowercase letters while also demonstrating the sound the letter makes. The only thing I would change about it is for the letters with more than one sound, make an additional puzzle piece. (ie: the vowels have long sounds and short sounds, some consonants have hard and soft sounds, etc.) It could just be an additional picture to go along with the letter so that particular letter would have 4 pieces (Capital letter, 2 pictures for the different sounds, lowercase letter) that way it doesn't require too many more pieces to be added to the set. Great purchase. I'll be purchasing the numbers and spelling sets soon. Update: something else I would change about the Counting puzzles. There are 2 sets of 1-10, and only one of 11-20. I don't know why it didn't just go up to 30 and only have one set of 1-10. Still a great purchase. The kids love it in my class.
I got this for my classroom. I teach title 1 reading, so I work with a variety of ages in small groups. My kindergarten and first grade students love working on it. It is self correcting and helps them match their upper case, lower case and sound. They can work independently and this puzzle set keeps them engaged.
Fun for my 4 and 5 year olds
This is excellent for learning letters. My 5 year old loves these puzzles. We have most of them to help learn while we play. Great product.
Love this product. The tiles are very durable and my 4 year old understands exactly how to put this puzzle together. It is helping him say and know the capital and lowercase of each letter and sound out the letter to say the picture. Great purchase.
Great tool for my students' independent center.
What I was looking for
Quality is good, but some of the cards are a joke. For instance, a goldfish... But the letter is F for fish. Other letters look too similar because of rounded comic sans type font. Like the u and n, neither of which have a line on the bottom to distinguish one from the other. Same with m and w. Just seems like if this company actually reviewed the product before selling it, they may have caught these obvious issues.
Awesome learning puzzle for little hands. My Kindergarten student love this puzzle which makes learning Fun :) Heavy duty puzzle pieces too, so it should last longer.
My almost 3 year old loves to play this puzzle.
Love this puzzle! It is perfect for helping my preschooler solidify the skills he is learning at school - especially lowercase letters and what sounds the letters make/matching them up to words that start with that sound. When he has these skills down pat, we will be passing this on to someone else to benefit from. Highly recommend!
My 3 y.o. loves it
This is such a simple concept, but works great to teach kids upper and lower case letters and the sounds the letters make! My 4 year olds enjoy finding the upper and lower case match, sounding out the letter and finding the picture that starts with the sound. They have fun working on this together, and it is really educational.
My 3 years old loves it
My preschooler loves them
As a teacher and mom of a two year old, I really love this product. I saw a similar product at a teacher store, but I prefer this puzzle because it has a picture on the front to give my child a clue for each match. I also like how durable the pieces feel. There are a few pictures that my two year old couldn't figure out which way was up or down so he couldn't fit the letters in to match. For example, the sun looks the same from all of the angles and he puts it upside down so the letters don't fit. I like matching puzzles to have a few separate bags to store pieces in so kids can easily do them on their own and not get overwhelmed with all of the pieces. I simply do it myself with Ziplock bags, but then they don't fit in the original box this way. This is a personal preference, but I wish more matching puzzles did this. **UPDATE** My son is now four. He is able to figure out the the sun puzzle piece. However, I wish that all of the vowels were the short vowel sound. He got a little confused because they were the long vowel sound. In my school district, they focus mostly on short vowel sounds until the end of first grade where they are introduced to long vowel. It's only I and O. They are ice cube and orange instead of igloo and octopus. Overall, it's a great product.
it is nice to see my nephew get so happy with he gets it right builds up his memory and it is fun and easy to set up mahalo and aloha
Love to play with my three year old she loves playing with these and has learned so much from them.
This is a great puzzle to get children ready for reading readiness. Helps my 4 year old recognize both upper and lower case words as well as the sound of the letter the puzzle piece fits to. Will buy Match It brand in the future.
We bought this for my son for Christmas. He loves the puzzle. The only flaw is that the pieces are pretty thin and it can be difficult to keep the pieces locked together. Great learning toy, though.
great for my 2 year old. He loves to match up the letters and pictures and is fun to learn letter identification.
This was great. It's the perfect way for learning upper and lower case letters. Teaches the kids how the letters sound when you play with them.
Our three year old loves playing with these letters. We play baby letter is looking for daddy/mommy letter. Also, between this and her other letter games she is really learning uppercase and lowercase.
Our boys love this product. The puzzle format and pictures make learning their letters a fun activity. I would recommend to anyone. It's very sturdy so no worries if there are younger siblings.
This is an excellent buy. The children aged 5 and 6 in my class love this. The puzzle pieces are bigger than expected which was a pleasant surprise. Very sturdy pieces.
This set is much more durable than I ever thought it would be. I thought it would be more like regular cardboard puzzle pieces, but it appears to be more designed for classroom/daycare/preschool use than home use. It was a welcome surprise as my kids tend to destroy things that are flimsy.Pictures are brightly colored, pieces are durable. Only problem could come from if you're expecting cardboard puzzle weight pieces and get this ... it does take up more space than I was expecting to have to make.
I am an early childhood teacher that currently stays at home with my children. I am teaching my youngest daughter her letters and bought this set to help. It is a great toy, very durable. The best part about it is that you can use the lowercase letters, upper case letters, or both. (It is better to teach lowercase letters first.) I use them for lessons, like which letter makes the "u" sound like this umbrella? When the child is able to do more independent work, the self-correcting matching pieces make it a good learning tool for working by themselves. I highly recommend this toy.
My kindergartener loves this puzzle! She is adopted and had some developmental delays, but seems to be taking off academically. By the second time she worked this puzzle, she was able to fly through it without any assistance. She would ask to go home and work it as soon as I picked her up from school. She has worked it about 20 times now, and still loves it. Her teacher is amazed at how fast she is picking up on reading concepts. I think this puzzle helped reinforce the letters and their sounds, so she will be reading by the end of kindergarten. I love the Learning Journey products.
